Titanic Interest: Fred Toms (British, 1882-1937): a collection of pen and ink drawings by Fred, including two of the ship HMS Aquitania, dated 1920, various caricatures, and other pen/ink drawings, each approximately 17 by 22cm, mounted to card, together with a copy of 'The Titanic Story', by Geoff Tibbals.
Notes: Fred Toms worked as a ship's steward on the Titanic and was rescued with his friend Benjamin Thomas, a saloon steward, in one of the lifeboats, possibly number 15, to the Carpathia.
