A pair of Chinese early 20th century famille rose porcelain vases, of inverted baluster form with flared rim and high spreading foot, decorated in pale polychrome enamels as a mirrored pair, each with a bearded man and a smaller figure gazing upwards to a crane in flight, iron red four character seal mark to base, each 11.5 by 26cm high. (2)

More Information

In good condition, except one vase has one small chip to rim and one dirt filled pressure chip to rim, both with various frit inclusions to glaze, plus light scratches and wear from use.
