Jean Shepeard (British, 1904-1989): charcoal portrait of Dame Sybil Thorndike (1882-1976), signed with a monogram, 23.5 by 16.5cm, mounted, 35 by 28cm, together with two signed but unmounted charcoal portraits, Dame May Whitty (1865-1948), 22.5 by 17.5cm, Nuna Davey (1902-1977), 27.5 by 21.5cm, both with the imprints of other portraits verso. (3)
Provenance- from Doreen Kern Collection (Artist and Sculptor 1931-2021) niece of Jean Shepeard.
