A rare Angelus Chronodato gold plated gentleman's wristwatch, circa 1950s, with triple calendar and stopwatch functions, the circular gold dial with mottled patination, red tachymetric scale and black date scale to outer edge, black Arabic numerals, black hands and centre stopwatch seconds hand, two recessed silvered subsidiary chronograph dials, month (upper) and day (lower) apertures adjusted by small pushers at 12:30 and 6:30 positions, long red arrow hand displays the date against the outer scale, adjusted by a small pusher at 8:30 position, two pushers for the stop watch set either side of the crown, the stainless steel snap back stamped 'Angelus', 'Fond Acier Inoxydable', and case number '234830', and stamped inside 'Angelus Watch Co Swiss' and '830', the movement also signed, case 38mm dial 37mm, 41mm across crown, on a later gold plated bracelet strap with deployment clasp, 79.6g gross.
Notes: in working condition, winds and hands set well, keeps time across 1hr test, all adjusters seem to work correctly however not perfectly, stopwatch does function, however Batemans cannot guarantee its continued operation.
