Lot 1A fine Japanese Satsuma pottery kogo incense box and cover by Kinkozan, Meiji period, of rectangular section with gently domed cover, finely painted in enamels and gilt, the cover depicting a lady seated with five children beside an open shoji, with views to buildings, pine trees and mountains in the distance, to the sides with a variety of panels and flowers, opening to reveal two sprays of flowers, gilt painted on iron seal four character 'Kinkozan' seal mark to base, in a gilt line border, a/f lid broken and repaired, 6.85 by 4.75 by 2.30cm high..
Lot 3A Chinese porcelain vase, Qing Dynasty, 19th century, of baluster form with stepped rim, decorated in underglaze blue with birds amid flowers and leafy branches, geometric borders to the rim, hexagonal form high footed base, bears six character Kangxi mark to base, 10 by 26cm high..
Lot 4A Chinese Republic period porcelain small planter, of rectangular outline with incuse corners, tapering to the base with four feet, decorated in famille rose palette with four panels depicting ladies at leisurely pursuits, alternating with the corner panels displaying black Chinese script, red stamped mark to base, lot label '307' for auction sale '10 Sep 1999', 21.5 by 16.5 by 7.5cm high..
Lot 5A Chinese porcelain bowl, Qing Dynasty, 19th century, bowl, with scalloped rim, decorated in underglaze blue with four panels to the inner rim depicting auspicious objects and flowers, against a geometric ground, the centre with a circular panel of flowers,
with underglaze blue artemisia leaf inside a double ring border mark to its base, 21.5 by 5cm high..
Lot 6A Chinese porcelain famille rose teapot, with strapwork handle, decorated with two reserve panels depicting exterior scenes with figures by a river, against a purple patterned ground with gilt highlights, 23 by 12 by 17cm high, together with a Chinese Export porcelain tankard, with moulded dragon form handle, decorated in underglaze blue and overglaze enamels with a reserve panel depicting figures near a lake, against an iron red mosaic pattern ground, 13 by 8 by 11cm high, a/f. Lot 7Nine 18th century and later Oriental ceramics, including an 18th century Chinese stone ware ginger jar, without lid, decorated with a fo dog, a/f, 11.5 by 13.5cm high, and a small Cantonese pattern bowl, with profuse decoration including four figures, butterflies birds and flowers, 7.5 by 6cm high. Lot 12Three pieces 19th century and later Chinese Canton porcelain, comprising a spherical form teapot, decorated with interior domestic scenes, birds and flowers, 25 by 15 by 20cm high, a cylindrical form teapot, with cane handle, and gilt mythical beast finial, 16 by 11 by 24cm high (including handle), and a celadon glaze dish decorated with flowers, butterflies and birds, 25cm. Lot 15A group of Oriental collectables, including a circa 1838 Japanese surimono woodblock print with poem, possibly Shijoe school, (accompanied by evaluation letter from the British Museum), 16.5 by 24cm, mounted, glazed and framed, 25 by 31cm, a framed 1919 5000 Ruble note, a lamp base, a three hardwood pot stands. Lot 16Two framed Chinese embroideries, comprising a rectangular panel depicting birds and butterflies, 42.5 by 23cm, glazed and framed, 45 by 26cm, and a circular panel depicting a butterfly and a pink flower with surrounding borders, 27.5cm, mounted, glazed and framed, 42 by 42cm, together with a Chinese painting on silk, depicting two boys playing, one rescuing his kite from a pine tree, red seal signature lower right, 17.5 by 11.7cm, mounted, glazed and framed, 34.5 by 28cm. Lot 18A Chinese enamel box and cover, 19th century, possibly Peking, of lobed form, decorated in famille rose palette against a green scrolling flower and branch ground, the cover with circular reserve depicting a room scene with three figures, the base with three further small reserves, unsigned, a/f damage and dents, 8.9 by 6.8cm high..
Lot 22Four pieces of 20th century Turkish and British studio pottery, comprising a Turkish Sıtkı Olçar green ground bowl decorated with peacocks, signed 'Sitki' to base, 29 by 6cm high, a Turkish blue and white flared baluster form vase, 11 by 20cm high, a Brixham pottery spill vase, 10 by 14.5cm high, and a Portmeirion British Heritage Parian collection water jug, 15.5 by 10 by 17cm high. Lot 25An Art Deco green depression glass bowl, 22 by 30 by 7cm high, with six soup bowls, 12 by 17 by 4cm high, all of fluted form with wing handles, 1950's Chrome plated set of six soup spoons with a soup serving spoon, 22.5cm long, all of stylised scallop shell form, in original case and a canteen of Challenge chrome plated cutlery comprising six table knives and forks, fish knives and forks, dessert spoons and forks and teaspoons, two table spoons and seven and one separate sundae spoons, canteen 39.5 by 28 by 7cm high. Lot 29An early 20th century part tea service decorated with roses and garden flowers with gilded highlights, cups and jug marked with gilded pattern number 8259 to the base, comprising eleven cups, 11 by 6cm high, saucers, 15.5cm diameter and side plates, 18cm diameter, a jug, 13 by 9 by 10.5cm high, and two cake plates, 24 by 21cm. Lot 32A group of eight bisque and ceramic figurines, including a 19th century Royal Berlin (KPM) factory porcelain figure, modelled as of a boy ice skating, entitled 'Februarius', 4 by 3.5 by 10cm high, a/f, and a Victorian Staffordshire figurine, modelled as a seated shepherdess feeding a lamb, with impressed registration lozenge and title marks to its back, 13 by 10 by 20cm high. Lot 42A group of nine Beswick animal figurines, comprising a camel, number 1044, a Lion family, numbers, 2089, 2097 and 2098, a Koala holding fruit, number 1089, a curled sleeping Fox, number 1017, a Donkey, number 2267, a Pheasant on plinth, number 1774 and a Panda, number 1815, tallest 17.5cm high, smallest 6cm high. Lot 43A large PMP Shierholz Plaue porcelain centrepiece, the bowl with rococo scrolls, gilded highlights and painted Indianische Blumen, supported by a naturalistic stemmed base with four dancing figures in 18th century constume on a base with raised flowers and gilded highlights, both bowl and stand marked with blue PMP 1817 marks below crown, 34 by 34 by 50cm high, a further smaller centrepiece, with classic pierced basket above decorated with bocage and painted flowers, the scrolling rococo base modelled with a figure of a girl and a basket of flowers and a gardening boy, both in 18th century costume, unmarked, 29 by 21 by 38.5cm high, a Dresden porcelain figure group of a boy on a sled and a young girl, on an oval base, 13 by 10.5 by 14cm high and a biscuit finished figure of a flower seller with a barrow, unmarked, 16cm high. Lot 44A group of eleven Sitzendorf porcelain figures, all in 18th century style and costume, comprising a pair of figures, model number 2373, one a lady, the other a gallant each on a bench, a shepherd and shepherdess, she with a bird cage and bird, a further shepherd with two sheep, a shepherdess, a seated gallant with a pipe and dog at his feet, a goose girl, carrying a goose and a basket, a/f basket missing handle, a gardening boy with spade and watering can, a flower seller holding a basket of flowers, and a swain holding a rose, tallest 22.5cm high, shortest 18.5cm high. (11).
Lot 45A group of glass tableware, comprising two pairs of Dartington Crystal 'Rachel Small Wine Glasses', 21.5cm tall, in original box with label stating 'Slightly Imperfect', and a set of four Bohemia Crystal cut glass whisky tumblers, each 10cm high in original box. (8 plus three boxes).
